  The place is very nice and the food is actually quite good but the staff is a disappointment. Very unfriendly, pretentious and unprofessional. I would probably go back if I need go but hopefully the staff is better.

  Held my birthday party in their Zephyr function Room. Perfect for 30 people. Tobias, the manager for the day, was there and nothing was a problem for him. He made some nice touches with table lights and fairy lights in the fireplace, too. The waitresses, Jo and Georgia were fantastic. They were most attentive to our needs and were very cheery and friendly.

  This one experience was worth writing a review. We had a reservation on the Melbourne cup day. We chose this place as we were more interested in food than drinks, and they had a 3 course set menu for $65 and a 2 course menu for $55, originally we had decided on the 3 course menu. We did arrive late by about 30min, I do admit but this was something we had explained when booking and were told would be fine. We sat down about 11:30, at some stage were given water by a waitress who didn't say anything to us, so we got our own drinks at the bar as no one seemed to be serving. Eventually our waitress came and took our order at 12:30 by this stage we requested the 2 course menu as we had work commitments to attend later and so decided to be safer in case it took a while. Our entrees arrived at 1:15 the food was average and a little cold, but we politely requested the mains come out quicker, at 2:15 hungry and frustated we gave up and asked the waitress how much longer the food would be and we were told that there was only a couple of tables before us so should be another 5 minutes. We asked if we could just pay for the entree and leave for which we had to pay $25 each. It has to be the most expensive plate of calamari I have ever had. I am so disappointed with this Melbourne cup luncheon and would definitely not be returning to this place in near future.

  Delightful atmosphere, the staff are friendly and have no problem asking if your needs are being met. The meals in the restaurant were tasty, being a big eater I thought they could have been bigger serves, however, my dinner guest thought that the servings were adequate.

  The canapes were well made and delicious. They allowed us to have some homegrown live music, too. Just a perfect night. Thank you!
